Explore Coastal Croatia: Yoga Retreat on a Yacht

Please email info@savonn.com if you would like to hear about future retreats to Croatia. Our trip in May of 2023 was SOLD OUT.  We are hoping to schedule another one in 2025.

The information below was specific to the May 2023 retreat.  Future retreats will be similar with itinerary and yacht to be determined.

Embark on a spectacular 8-day voyage aboard a private yacht cruising along the Dalmatian Coastline of Croatia. The trip highlights the most iconic islands and beaches in Croatia. Our chartered yacht, built in 2019, has a sun deck, swimming platform, air-conditioned en-suite cabins, a jacuzzi, and more.

Embark in Dubrovnik, where you can either take the included transfer from Dubrovnik airport (DBV) to Gruž Harbor or meet the yacht in the harbor. Disembark in Split, and take the included transfer to the Split airport (SPU) or continue on your own from Split harbor.

Itinerary

DAY ONE: WELCOME to DUBROVNIK, CROATIA

Transfer from Dubrovnik International Airport (DBV) to Gruž harbor. Check-in starts at 1:00 p.m. If your flight arrives earlier, you can explore the beautiful city of Dubrovnik on your own until check-in.

After checking and settling in, relax on the yacht or explore Dubrovnik. In the evening, meet on the boat for a welcome dinner and reception. The yacht will stay overnight in Dubrovnik.

Meals included: dinner.

DAY TWO: DUBROVNIK to SLANO/STON

After breakfast, join our local guide for an insider’s tour of the historical center of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the tour, there will be free time to continue to explore and enjoy the city.

In the early afternoon, come back to the ship, where lunch will be served on board en route to Slano. From there, we’ll start our culinary exploration toward Ston, the gastronomic center of the country.

In Ston, we will visit an oyster farm to learn how oysters and mussels are rustically cultivated. The visit concludes with an oyster, mussel, and local wine tasting. Afterwards, the rest of the evening is yours to further explore the streets of Ston.

The yacht will stay overnight in Slano/Ston.

Meals included: breakfast and lunch. Dinner on your own in Slano/Ston.

DAY THREE: SLANO/STON to MLJET ISLAND

Early in the morning, we will depart for a swim stop. After an onboard lunch, we set off for Mljet Island to check out the pristine Mljet National Park, as well as the Great and Small Lake, and The Islet of St. Mary with its Benedictine Monastery. Spend the evening with the crew over a captain’s dinner on board. Yacht stays in Mljet overnight.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and captain’s dinner.

DAY FOUR: MLJET ISLAND to KORČULA ISLAND

Set off for the Island of Korčula. In Korčula, our local guide will take us on a city tour through the town’s charming narrow and cobbled streets. You’ll have the rest of the evening to explore and enjoy dinner on your own.

Meals included: breakfast and lunch. Dinner on your own in Korčula.

DAY FIVE: KORČULA ISLAND to VIS

In the morning, we’ll cruise to the Island of Vis, with a swim stop en route. Beautiful beaches, ecological agriculture, and preserved traditional architecture make up the highlights of this remarkable Croatia island. You will have the afternoon and evening free to enjoy the island’s unspoiled nature.

Meals included: breakfast and lunch. Dinner on your own in Vis.

DAY SIX: VIS to BIŠEVO and HVAR

Our day starts with a morning trek towards the island of Biševo and its Blue Cave. Sunbeams streaming through the cave’s opening get reflected from the white bottom floor, coloring the cave aquamarine and objects in the water silver, creating a truly stunning and magical natural phenomenon. FYI: At times, high waves prevent us from getting to the entrance to Blue Cave, which is something we will not know until the morning before our visit.

After a swim stop and lunch, we’ll continue along many idyllic coves and bays towards Hvar, the sunniest Croatia island and one of the most popular Croatia destinations. Upon our afternoon arrival, there will be time to explore on your own and take in the island’s history and culture.

Meals included: breakfast and lunch. Dinner on your own in Hvar.

DAY SEVEN: HVAR to BOL and SPLIT
We’ll depart towards Bol, which is famous for having one of the finest European beaches, Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape). Take time to relax in this charming Dalmatian town. Have a walk, a cup of coffee, or a swim, until lunch is served on board. After lunch, we’ll continue cruising towards Split, our last stop, with refreshing swim stops en route.

A local guide will lead an afternoon city tour and through the historical Diocletian’s Palace. After touring the city, you will be on your own to explore Split.

Meals included: breakfast and lunch. Dinner on your own in Split.

DAY EIGHT: SPLIT and Goodbyes
After breakfast, collect your belongings and say your goodbyes. A transfer to the Split (SPU) airport will be provided, and you can board your flight home or head off to your next adventure!

Meals included: breakfast.
